Logs Insights is a distributed query engine layered on top of CloudWatch Logs. If an operator doesn't master this tool that scans 1TB of logs in 30 seconds, troubleshooting drops from 1 hour to 5 minutes differently depending on mastery. When you get a PagerDuty alert at 3am, the difference between an operator who answers "which path, which user_id, which exception" in a five-line query and one spending 30 minutes on console text search ultimately comes down to Insights proficiency.
